We always look forward to teaching servant leadership classes and enjoyed two highly productive days with TD Partners in Houston. Last Tuesday we taught the Introduction to Servant Leadership using Accelerated Learning strategies.
Randee Herrin served as Senior Sponsor, and Debbie Stephens as Class Sponsor, sharing stories from the workplace to reinforce new skills of servant leadership being taught. There are always a lot of one-on-one activities linking new skills to current business challenges and small group activities, which provide great opportunities for Partners to learn more about each other and different roles in the company.
On Wednesday we facilitated a fast-paced and fun review of two levels of skill building, both at the individual contributor level and also supervisory skills of applied servant leadership. After reviewing six sets of skills, the participants divided into teams and demonstrated their mastery of specific concepts through some creative skits. Taking real events they brought to life the power of learning to apply collective intelligence and high performance teaming by contrasting the ways teams perform when people are self centered versus teams who have practiced addressing problems by collaborating and doing what’s best for all stake holders.
People share stories from their previous experiences that are always both inspiring and valuable examples of the power of putting others first and being guided by a strong vision.
Discovering that communication is no easy task through a team challenge.
We are committed to providing outstanding career opportunities by exceeding our customers’ expectations through continuous aggressive improvement. TDIndustries Vision/Mission
