People often wonder about the return on investment of servant leadership. Is it worth the time? Does it pay off? Will we see business results? These are questions we often hear but over the last 30 years we have seen time and time again the outstanding results servant leadership can produce for an organization, both in people relationships and in business results. The new Parkland Hospital project is a perfect example of the tremendous results servant leadership can produce when applied to an organization.
Ann McGee-Cooper & Associates has had the privilege to work with two outstanding Clients, Balfour Beatty, and Parkland Hospital, for the past decade and in 2009 we were thrilled to receive the opportunity to merge our work with these two Clients when Balfour Beatty, along with Austin Commercial, Russell, and Azteca formed a coalition and won the contract to build the iconic new Parkland Hospital.
We are honored to be a part of this incredible project. Below is a brief video showcasing the great work being done to build a hospital that “will change public healthcare in this country, and nothing less.”

“We asked AMCA to help us with our servant leadership development strategy. They did more than nudge us along. They instilled a discipline we needed to hold ourselves accountable and to stay true to our beliefs and values during the hard times, as well as the good. They are not cheerleaders. They are wise sages and counsel, as well as friends.”
