Matthew Kosec enthusiastically serves as an Adjunct Partner with Trammell McGee-Cooper and Associates, Inc. as it brings forth the opportunity to better serve the Partners of Celebration Restaurant, Catering, and Market as Chief Operating Officer.
Throughout his nearly sixteen year career in public service, as well as in his current role at Celebration, Matt has been a student of servant leadership. His varied responsibilities have helped him develop a wide variety of competencies, ranging from project management, process improvement, complete remodeling of learning systems, and leading large-scale organizational change. He has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences, including three invitations to present on the integration of servant leadership in organizations at the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership International Conference.
TMCA is investing Matt’s extraordinary teaching skills to introduce the concept of servant leadership to our Clients. His work with Bridgeway Financial Management included a scholarly case study of Bridgeway’s comprehensive and unique application of stewardship and generosity in the for-profit environment. Matt has also designed and co-facilitated curriculum for the Servant Leadership Learning Community® . In addition, he is serving with Ann McGee-Cooper and Carol Haddock on the Culture Committee of Southwest Airlines where he has gathered insights into a leader-full organization, as well as demonstrated his judging skills for chili cook-offs and talent for conga lines. Whether he is teacher, student, or somewhere in between, Matt can be relied upon to deliver insightfulness, academic credibility, and most importantly, humor, in any learning environment.
Matt believes in life-long learning and that the best leaders are always open to be challenged to grow. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from St. Edwards University, Austin, Texas and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington. During the completion of his Masters Degree Matt obtained a Masters Certificate in Servant Leadership from Gonzaga. He is a graduate of the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police.
Matt is supported by his wife Shannon, and inspired by his daughter, Guerin, and son, Bowen.
